Katja Bauer

Katja Bauer joined i-potentials as a partner in 2019 and supports CxO mandates with a special focus on e-commerce, omnichannel & retail. As an HR executive, she has helped shape the recruiting and HR structures in Germany’s digital flagships over the past 10 years, as the 1st Head of HR at Zalando and in leadership positions at Rebuy, Flaconi and Jamba among others.

The challenges and best practices of HR leadership in the hypergrowth context are well known to her from a corporate perspective and also shape her perspective as an executive search consultant. Katja takes the in-depth HR knowledge that was part of her education as a graduate in administration and rethinks it for digital business models. With this combination, she also bridges the gap between traditional & new business worlds in her executive search mandates.
